Return Policy / Warranty information

We know that you will be pleased with your purchases from Advanced Systems, However, there may be occasions when you will need to return items to us.

Need to return an item?

​

You can request a return by contacting us via phone on 01642 804422 or via email / mail etc stating your order number and reason for return.

​

If you change your mind

​

If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, no problem. You have a cooling off period where an item can be returned within 14 days starting from the date you received your item. ( Please not this does not cover build to order systems as the parts are ordered specifically for you they are not held in stock) The item must be in the same condition you received it in and not modified or damaged in any shape or form and must be returned in original undamaged packaging. You must return the item to us or request us to collect the item, in either case, at your cost. Once you've informed us that you wish to return your item, you have 14 days to return it. Once the item is received at Advanced Systems, we'll issue a full refund for the product to your original payment method.

Please note that this policy has some limitations and does not apply to business customers.

You will not have the right to cancel/return an item if the goods are made to your specification, Built to order or are customised to your requirements. a 15% restocking charge will be applied for any refunds given to cover any labour and restocking costs incured.

Warranty info - new systems

​

All systems purchased from advanced systems comes with a 2 year RTB warranty (unless specified at point of sale)  1st year parts and labour, second year labour only.

If System is a web sale and sold outside of our locality then for the first 14 days we will cover the cost to get it back to us. This only applies if the system is coming back for repairs / replacement.

Any hardware faults within the warranty period will be replaced without question unless signs of tampering or physical damage such as drops / Liquid damage etc are found.

All labour for part replacement will be covered and also no labour charge will be made for upgrades within the warranty period.

​

This warranty does not cover software faults such as issues caused by windows updates / incorrect driver installation / virus or malware infections etc. Although we do normally give the benefit of the doubt the first few times, (this is at the discretion of our staff). Please note any returns for software issues will be done so at your own cost.

​

While under warranty any repairs on your system become priority and are normally dealt with same day or next day at the latest (depending on how busy we are at the time) Unless its a major fault on a laptop which would then have to be sent off to the manufacturer for repair. Any systems sold outside of our local area will take longer due to shipping times etc.

​

Please note : The warranty contract with this system is with the original purchaser and not transferable if sold or passed on to another owner.

Warranty info - Refurbished Systems

​

All Refurbished systems purchased from advanced systems comes with a 6 Month RTB warranty (unless specified at point of sale)

​

All other terms apply as with new systems.
